Middle Ages Part 2

Alyssa finished all of her midlde ages projects ... Here is the final pictures of her castle
I am so proud of how hard she worked on this project.  She got all 250 points of the project and even got it all turned in on Thursday morning rather than Friday so she could watch the movie.

Then on Friday, they had a medieval festival ... 8 different activities.  Alyssa dressed up as a lady from the middle ages.

 She got to joust ...

 They had a royal feast.

They "stoned" their friends in the stocks by throwing marshmallows into their mouth.

I think they had a little bit of fun in the stocks though.
They also played a game with dice ... when they rolled a certain number they had to complete one action ... (ride  ahorse aroud the circle, curtsey like a lady, knight someone else, fight a "dragon" etc.

They played a game similar to capture the flag and they also played a ladies and gents game of soccer.
They also played a game of pass the shoe (the person in the middle had to guess who had the shoe when the time stopped).
But the one that was most fun for me to watch ... dancing.  boys and girls had to hold hands and dance together!  Some of the kids were so UNhappy about it ... but they all did well and I think in the long run they enjoyed it.  And I'm sure someday, they will all look back at the pictures and laugh at themselves for being such stinkers about it.  Plus they had great teachers ... thanks Lisa.  They all had a great time.
