Rather than split into kids table and adults table, which can get kind of crazy with that many little kids, we opted for one big table (ok, so actually 7 tables all pushed into one big square) in our game room in the basement. I decorated the table and was quite proud of it! We even made name cards for all of us! 23 People at ONE BIG Table!
Our Thanksgiving was really nice this year. We opted to have both families over at the SAME time. So, we had Steve's two sisters that live locally and their families, his parents, my sister who lives here and her family and my parents plus us. It went really well. Everyone brought food items so nobody had to do it all and we just had a nice afternoone, culminating in the lighting of the house! Steve turned the outside lights on just for the families that night. Thanks everyone for bringing food, helping with all the clean up and making Thanksgiving a really nice day for us!

One of two cornucopias I bought at Costco - real flowers! They were our center piece.
The full center piece!
The filled table with all of our guests - all sides of it!

Sure missed all the family that wasn't with us though! We love you David, Angie, Sarah, Zach, Caroline, Biff, Nyla, Brenden, Ray, Laurie, Braden, Jordan and Bethany!
