Lights at Temple Square

This post is out of order, but hey, what can you do? :) After Alyssa's choir concert at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, we visited Temple Square and saw the lights and nativities. It was a really nice night. A light snow had fallen that day, dusting everything with snow, which the little girls LOVED scooping up and eating. It was lightly snowing that night, which was keeping the temperature up so it wasn't too cold. We dressed the girls in their snowsuits and everyone stayed warm and dry. It wasn't crowded and it was beautiful as always. We are so blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives and to understand the reason for this wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas to all of you! Thank you Heavenly Father for sending us your Son to be born in a manger and live and die for us!
This was taken by Alyssa ... she's still working on the holding the camera still and aiming and snapping all at the same time. :) Its a little crooked, but at least Steve and I get pictures together!
