Alyssa wrote a note to the Easter Bunny last week. I didn't think to scan it before the Easter Bunny took it but it had a cute picture on the front of the card and then inside it asked how she could cheer her family. She asked him to leave her a note on her desk. She also told the Easter Bunny she had left some eggs for him to give to people who weren't going to have Easter. This was left with their baskets and about 8 or 10 eggs in each basket.
The Easter Bunny visits our family during church when we have 9am church... Thanks Steve! While he was here he borrowed our computer and printer and left the following response to Alyssa (he even decorated the paper with a cute bunny graphic at the top and a light egg behind the text. Alyssa was really impressed by it!

Dear Alyssa,
Thank you so much for the pretty picture and the note. You are such a good artist. I also appreciate how thoughtful you and your sisters are... leaving eggs for other people in need is very kind and loving. I'm so grateful good people like you and your family are around to help.
I know you asked me to put this note on your desk but I saw your pretty mailbox and couldn't resist! I hope you'll forgive me.
In the note you left me you asked, "Is there anything I can do to help cheer my family?" Why yes! Remember, Jesus taught us that cheer always starts within your self. The easiest way to help someone else be happy is to be happy yourself. So always start there first. Jesus also taught us to "Do unto others as we would want them to do unto us". So, the next think you can do to bring cheer to your family is always put the needs or wants of your family ahead of your own needs or wants. If you do this you will find ways to help your family and in turn you will make them happy and cheerful.
Thanks for being such a great girl. Enjoy the treats I left you.
HAPPY EASTER!
Love,
The Easter Bunny
