Rockin' to the 50's with Grandpa

Our school hosts a Daddy/Daughter Dance every year. And it always seems to be when Steve can't go. All 3 years, Steve has been unable to go. This year it was because of a band gig. So, we've turned to the Grandpas to go with the girls. The first year, she skipped the dance and Steve took her out later. Last year, Steve's dad took Alyssa. This year, my dad took Taylor and Alyssa. It was a 50's dance. I don't have the professional pictures they had taken yet, but here are some we snapped at home before they left!

You gotta love Alyssa trying to impersonate a 50's expression. That's what she told us. The first is the "oh, oh, oh" face. Not sure about the second!

While they were out, Jessi and I went to Taco Time to get tacos - her choice (but Mc Ds was out so this was probably the best option for a place to play) and then we went to Maggie Moos Ice Cream! :)

Steve made it up to the girls on Monday night. He took the older girls to dinner and then Bowling. I don't have those pics off his phone yet though. Coming soon!
