While we were in the mountains, the girls ran around on the trails near us. They loved it. Here are a few pictures of them playing. I didn't get many of Alyssa, she was just fast enough that most of them were really blurry and/or I got the side or back of her head. The best one I took, Tay jumped right in front of me so its about 70% Taylor's head. Oh well. I tried!
The girls needed to go to the bathroom, but not being the"outdoors" family, they flipped out about even the port-a-potty that was nearby. Taylor said it didn't have a "flusher" so she wouldn't use it. Steve, being the man that he is, decided he'd teach them how to use the bathroom in nature! He found a good spot, even a fallen tree they could sit so they didn't have to squat so much ... but NOT A CHANCE!! All the girls thought he was CRAZY. Alyssa even stomped on his foot when he suggested it again. Not a one would even remotely consider it. Well, Taylor REALLY had to go, and when I say REALLY, I mean it. She had an accident just as we were getting ready to leave. After we cleaned her up and loaded up the car, she told us that next year she's going to go in the woods. She decided the woods was a much better option than her pants! Poor thing! Alyssa and Jess still say NO WAY!
These pictures are of them on their way to "the woods". I took about 6 pics and never got one with them all looking at me, so you have to look at 2 to get all the faces.
