PROM!!!

Prom is an exciting time at our house!! Why? You may ask ... my girls certainly aren't old enough to go. BUT, their favorite babysitter/my office assistant is old enough to go! They LOVE seeing Karianna in her beautiful dress! She and her date stop by to show us her dress as they are on their way to dinner - poor guy not only has to deal with her parents, but with her boss (me) and boss's husband and three kids!

Here she is this year, with her date Jace and my girls. This picture makes me laugh ... it looks like a little family since the color of the girls coordinate so well with Karianna. TOTALLY unplanned!! :) The girls all chose their own clothes that morning and it just happened to match this way.

Just to show how much my girls have changed, here she is last year with Alyssa and Jessica (Taylor was playing shy and wouldn't get near Karianna's date).
As Karianna was getting in the car last weekend (after we took pictures), Jessica looked up at me with this sad little face and said, "but mom, I want to go to the princess dance too!" I told her she could go when she is older, like 16 and she said, "But I want to go with Karianna!" They truly love her and I am so grateful for her!!

Taylor asks for Karianna every day. This was our busy week in my office. And it was also my carpool week. Every day, when I picked her up after school, she says "Whose at our house?" If I answer Karianna, she asks, "Are you leaving?" If I say, no, she says "Does Karianna have work to do or can she play with us?" If Karianna has work to do, Taylor is absolutely bummed!! She even asks if I can go away so Karianna can play. I think she might have even skipped her fieldtrip to the zoo on Friday to stay home with Karianna who was babysitting for Jessica while I chaperoned (of course, that would have meant I would still have had to go without her). :)

OH!!! MY BIG NEWS!!! Karianna is graduating this year and I thought I was going to lose her in my office and as our babysitter. BUT, she has decided to live at home at least the first semester while she goes to UVU so she can save money. AND she has coordinated her class schedule so she can MOST LIKELY continue working for me!! I am so excited to get to keep her in my office and home! I still think she should move out and live near campus soon, but I'll keep her while I can!! Yippee!!
