Night #2 of Recitals

Taylor's night was Saturday ... a much calmer afternoon and evening was a nice start to her recital. Another 2 hour recital was a bit long, but hey, the things we do for our kids. Taylor was quite content in the room with all the other dancers - where the teachers provided coloring books and paper to keep them entertained. She has 2 numbers. Alyssa performed int he opening number but then was almost instantly bored watching all the other numbers. Jessica did fairly well -sitting and watching all the dancers, but wondered why she didn't get to dance too. :)

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Henderson and Grandma and Grandpa Lindsey for coming to another night of dance! Taylor did great - especially on the lift in the Sharpay dance. Two girls lift her on their hands (made into a chair) and Taylor holds her arms up as they spin her around. The LOVES that part of the dance and does it quite well. Even when the other girls weren't there for a practice, she still held her arms up and turned around like she was in the air. She did NOT like hanging out in her costume though, . hmmmm ... maybe because it isn't a skirt or a dress. She isn't a fan of pants. The second her routine was over, she changed out of her costume - and wasn't thrilled to put it back on to do the final number where they come out for applause. When that was over, she again, immediately changed. :) Both girls got flowers and Taylor was SO PROUD of those flowers. She wanted to carry them, even though they were almost as big as she was.
