Steve, although not getting paid, is still working. They are working very hard on improving the technology, getting it closer to revenue stage. He has also been doing a lot of demos on their technology to potential investors and partnerships or companies that would be possible revenue streams. Today, Steve sent some samples of what they were working on and I messaged him on facebook ... told him I was missing having lunch with him (I had been going down about once every week or two - but haven't been much since school started). I said that maybe next week I'd bring a picnic down and hang out with him for lunch. He said "why not today?" So, 30 min later, Jessica and I had bread, meat, cheese, mayo, PB and jelly, chips, knives to spread with, drinks, plates and napkins and we were headed to have lunch with him. When we got there, Jessica wanted to eat IN his office rather than picnic outside, so that is what we did. The girls LOVE going to daddy's work. They think it is super cool to write on his big white board and to just hang out with dad.

Its Friday!!
Wahoo! I am so glad it is Friday. I'm ready for the weekend and relaxing a bit. :)

Update on the job situation: They are making some great progress on the technology and doing some more demos next week. They expect the potential investor to take 30-45 days for "due diligence". In the meantime, they are working on a couple of other potentials to see if they can get something done quicker. I got to see what they've accomplished so far and I am SOOO impressed. I couldn't figure out which voice recording was created by a compute and which was a recording of a persona. It was IMPRESSIVE. I'm so proud of all the employees who have worked consistently and so hard with no pay these past few weeks with HOPES of getting to see this technology finished and start being used. They have worked hard and have been very committed. Super proud!! Super excited for the potential it holds! Steve also heard back on a couple of job openings ... has two "meetings" next week to discuss some options and also applied for a couple more positions today. He's working really hard to find something. If something comes a long that is a good position (good fit for him, reasonable compensation, etc) then we'll decide if he wants to take it or not. Right now, just keeping all our options open! Thanks again, for all your support.
