Hopeful news ...

Its not promising yet, and definitnely not solid yet, but at least things are hopeful again. The board (including the previous investor/majority owner) agreed yesterday to re-negotiate with the potential investor and have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow where they will present the terms that the potential investor originally said he would agree to. So, now we cross our fingers that he is still interested and willing to move forward. There are several reasons why he wouldn't still be interested, but we are hopeful. If he agrees to the terms, then its a matter of time before they are back in business againn ... but that "time" is yet to be determined too. It may take weeks or longer to get things finalized and the first payment made. Not a done deal by any means, but I'll take hopeful!!

On the other front, Steve is looking for other jobs. He spends some time every day looking for new openings. He's sent it to a recruiter as well as several specific jobs. He's an director-executive level (depending on company size) and a senior engineer though so not a lot of jobs out there for him. But I'm proud of him. He has grown so much in the last 3 years - in leadership, engineering skills and LEAPS AND BOUNDS in writing and doing oral presentations ... overall professionally ... not to mention he is a better husband and father.
