We've started a new tradition ... one Steve has wanted to do for a long time... tailgating before the games. We've done it for all the home games. Sometimes it is just Steve, his dad and I. Other times we have a couple friends joins us. We've had steaks, burgers, brats and Polish dogs plus sides like frog-eye salad, pork-n-beans, chips, mashed potatoes and desserts. We bring a table and chairs, our little grill and we do it up right! Its fun. We avoid all the traffic and get to just enjoy hanging out. If any of you go to the game, let me know! We'd love to have you join us (that is if the game against Air Force and Utah aren't TOO cold ... rain didn't stop us against TCU though!).

This is our second year with season tickets as official members of the Cougar club. This year, we finally started fulfilling Steve's dream to tailgate. We may be a small group (3-7 of us) but we do it right! This week, BYU played TCU - both ranked in the top 25. ESPN College Gameday broadcasted from the parking lot. Our tailgate party was dampened by rain and wind, but we still enjoyed some brats, frog-eye salad, chips & brownies. Steve, Dallas and Tom even threw the ball around when the clouds parted for a bit. Too bad the cougars lost to TCU.
