Alyssa's 3rd swim meet wsa July 8th in Lindon. She swam her three events and got legal times in all 3 ... no disqualifications on anything!! And that means she gets her trophy at the end of the year, something she did not accomplish last year. Wahoo! But more importantly to me, I'm proud of her for working so hard and really trying. It hasn't been easy for her, and she's not the top of her team, but she's happy to just compete and do her best!
She swam three TOUGH events! ButterFly time (25 yards): 41.13 4th place in her age group!!Then she swam the Individual Medley (25 yards each of freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke) 2:53.04 3rd place in her age group. And her final stroke was BreastStroke. She got a 39.54 5th place. 3 qualifying times and 3 top 5 finishes! Way to go Alyssa!!
